There’s something here for everyone

A New Chapter for Midwife Mozeke

For the past six years, I have had the privilege of caring for families throughout Dallas–Fort Worth through Trinity Birth Services. You have welcomed me into your homes, shared your hopes and concerns and invited me to walk alongside you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I am deeply grateful for that trust.

Every family I have served has left a mark on me. I treasure the relationships that have grown beyond a birth, the joy of watching families grow, and the honor of being invited back to care for you again. I have grown so much from the experiences. To those who have referred friends, encouraged me, allowed me to assist another midwife at your birth and shared my work with others: thank you. Your support has made these six years possible and strengthened my commitment to this community. Today, I am sharing the next step in that commitment. As I phase out Trinity Birth Services, I will continue accepting clients as through my nonprofit organization, For The Birth Equity.

In this new chapter, I will offer the same thoughtful, personal midwifery care you have come to know from me, while placing greater emphasis on giving back and expanding access for more families. My commitment to listening, empowering and caring for you with compassion will remain at the heart of my work. Over the years, I have seen how much it matters for families to have support, information, and a voice in their care. I have also seen the barriers that can put midwifery care out of reach. Through For The Birth Equity, I am bringing my experience and passion for serving families into a broader effort to challenge those barriers and create more access in our community.

I am hopeful about the opportunity to care for you while working toward a future where more families can receive that same support. Giving back and advocating for greater birth equity are deeply connected to why I became a midwife, and I look forward to making them an even greater part of how I serve. If you are a prospective client desiring an out of hospital birth, please visit www.ftpbirth.org to learn more about receiving care through For The Birth Equity. If you are a previous client who would like to work with me again, please call me directly. It would be a joy to reconnect and talk about supporting you through your next pregnancy and birth.

Thank you, DFW, for six years of connection, encouragement, and trust. As I take this next step, I carry the love and lessons of those years with me. I look forward to continuing to care for families and working together toward a community where more families have access to the care they deserve.

With gratitude,
Mozeke
