There’s something here for everyone

Midwifery Care

From prenatal education and birth planning to postpartum support and family integration, I am committed to creating a loving and safe environment for you and your growing family by offering services that fit your unique needs.

Home birth is an intimate, powerful, and deeply personal experience.

Feeling safe, supported, and truly at ease in your own space is vital for a positive birth outcome. I offer steady, compassionate midwifery care that meets you where you are and honors the choices you make for your body and your baby.

I’m especially passionate about supporting first-time parents and VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) families. If this is your first pregnancy, I take the time to explain what’s happening, answer every question, and help you feel confident in your body’s ability to give birth. If you’re planning a VBAC, I understand the weight of past experiences and walk with you in a way that centers trust, informed choice, and belief in your body’s ability.

My midwifery style is relationship-based. I focus on education, preparation, and realistic expectations—so when labor begins, you feel grounded, capable, and supported. During birth, I’m there with calm presence and skilled attention, protecting your space and responding as needed. After birth, I continue caring for you as you heal, adjust, and step into parenthood.

My role is to support, guide, and stand beside you as you do the powerful work of bringing your baby into the world.

Montrice care is personalized prenatal education & in-home labor support with a hospital birth

Are you a first time mom or wanting to VBAC but don’t want an out-of-hospital birth? Do you have unanswered questions and desire evidence-based information to make informed decisions? Do you want more guidance on how to exercise your birth rights to have a low intervention, empowering birth in the hospital?

You’re in the right place! Montrice services offers the personalized care that you want with the education and support that you need to labor at home as long as possible before transferring to the hospital to give birth. Monitrice care is all about steady support, clear guidance, and helping you feel confident as labor unfolds.

I provide in-home labor support to help you stay comfortable and relaxed before heading into the hospital. I support you through contractions, offer hands-on comfort measures, help you understand what your body is doing, and assess when it’s time to go to the hospital. This early support often means arriving feeling calmer, more prepared, and ready for the next phase of birth.

Once you’re at the hospital, I continue supporting you as a monitrice—working alongside your medical team while keeping the focus on you. I help you stay grounded, advocate for your preferences, and move through labor with confidence in a fast-paced setting.

After discharge from the hospital, I provide 24 hours of Postpartum doula support which offers hands-on care, reassurance, and practical help as you heal, rest, and adjust—nurturing confidence, easing overwhelm, and supporting your family during the early weeks at home.
